Preamble
The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure that our lobbying activities in Saskatchewan are conducted with the highest ethical standards, transparency, and integrity. This Code establishes clear guidelines for GSD to promote trust and accountability in interactions with public office holders.

1. Honesty and Integrity

1.1 GSD will conduct themselves with honesty, integrity, and in a manner that promotes the public interest.

1.2 GSD will accurately represent their interests, intentions, and the facts when communicating with public office holders.

2. Transparency

2.1 GSD will disclose their identity and the identity of their clients or organizations they represent in all communications with public office holders.

2.2 GSD will register with the appropriate authority and provide accurate, current, and complete information as required by law.

3. Conflict of Interest

3.1 GSD will avoid any conflicts of interest and will disclose any potential or actual conflicts of interest to the appropriate parties.

3.2 GSD will not represent conflicting or competing interests without the informed consent of those whose interests are involved.

4. Respect for Public Office Holders

4.1 GSD will conduct themselves in a manner that respects the dignity and integrity of public office holders.

4.2 GSD will not engage in conduct that could be construed as providing inducements or rewards to public office holders in return for their influence or support.
5. Confidentiality

5.1 GSD will respect the confidentiality of information obtained during the course of their professional activities and will not use such information for personal gain or to the detriment of their clients or public office holders.

5.2 GSD will ensure that confidential information is not disclosed without proper authorization.
6. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

6.1 GSD will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules governing lobbying activities in Saskatchewan.

6.2 GSD will familiarize ourselves with and adhere to the Lobbyists Act and any other relevant legislation.
7. Professionalism

7.1 GSD will conduct their activities with professionalism and courtesy, respecting the democratic process and the roles of public officeholders.

7.2 GSD will ensure that their professional conduct does not bring disrepute to the lobbying profession.
8. Accountability

8.1 GSD will be accountable for their actions and decisions and will be prepared to justify their activities and conduct to clients, public office holders, and the public.

8.2 GSD will cooperate with any investigations or inquiries by regulatory authorities into their lobbying activities.
9. Training and Development

9.1 GSD will seek to continuously improve their knowledge and skills related to lobbying and public affairs.

9.2 GSD will participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to stay informed about best practices and changes in legislation.
